Dr. Asgher Umer is a Professor at the Department of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) - School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan.
An AI Neuroscientist and an Electronics engineer, with a Ph.D. in Engineering specialized in Brain Computer Interface (BCI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Dr. Umer also finished his M.S. in Computer Engineering and  Industrial Manufacturing Engineering from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Having diverse industrial and research experience and currently working in research areas like Neuroergonomics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Operations research, Brain Computer Interface (BCI). Internet of Things (IoT), Engineering optimization and cyber-physical systems.
Dr. Umer has many published paper and chaired many conferences worldwide including US. He is competent in:

• Artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, services and advisory.
• Virtual training and workshops on Artificial intelligence (AI), aacademic, system optimization etc.
• Taring and advisory in Virtual and Augmented reality research and projects.
