Internationally recognized expert in education with extensive experience in teaching and researching of physical and health education as well sports science, Dr. Ellie Abdi is a former gymnast, dancer, and coach who has held various academic roles from Pk to doctoral studies at various US and French institutions. Professor Abdi is a faculty member at Montclair State University, NJ. and has Associé de Recherche and Professeur Associé at Université de Reims, France, Advisor to Physical Activity Office at The American University of Paris, France, where she established a scholarship, a Content Expert for the University of Grand Canyon, School of Doctoral Studies, Arizona, and 25 years of public education teaching on her academic resume. Additionally, she teaches professional development courses including Continuing Medical Education CME and is the founder of International Academic Enterprises. Furthermore, Dr. Abdi was the Vice President of physical education for SHAPE-NJ and the chair of Diversity for SHAPE-America. She advocates on behalf of teachers and students before Congress in Washington, DC. regularly and takes assignments on curriculum design with the NJ Department of Education. Dr. Abdi also devotes her time to the community & was Vice President for Jerome Lohez 9/11 Scholarship Foundation in NY City and director of Democratic Organization's scholarship program in her NJ hometown. Currently, she is on the board of the Paris-American Club in NY City. She remains as an editorial board member for several international scientific journals including France, Switzerland, Turkey, Kenya & US, in addition to livre de Lyon publishing in France. Dr. Abdi not merely is invited to many editorial journals, scientific committees, conferences, radio & TV stations as an author, presenter & keynote just as so her research, interviews, and articles have been published on sites & journals globally and domestically. She holds a Masters of Education in Philosophy for Children from Montclair State University in NJ and a Doctor of Education in Leadership from Northcentral University in San Diego, California. An author of 3 books on education (1 translated to Farsi), co-author of several chapters on bio mechanics in books, chief editor of a medical researched book, Dr. Abdi has written more than 30 published research papers with more than 100 citations. Her last book, Farewell My Queens: From Marie Antoinette to Farah Diba is her 5th book.

She speaks English & Farsi and has knowledge of Arabic & French.
